After graduating from Otago University with a finance degree Roger left New Zealand to work abroad. After stints in America and the UK he moved to Moscow in 1995 and has lived and worked there ever since.

Roger started racing in 2004 having graduated from the Silverstone Motorsport Academy. After some selected BRDC Formula Ford rounds Roger’s focus switched to historic cars. Now established as one of the most prominent historic racers, Roger has scored numerous significant wins across the globe in a range a machinery from 50’s sports racing cars to 70’s Formula 1 and 80’s Group C cars. Highlights include wins at Le Mans Classic, Goodwood Revival and the fastest time of the day at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in a Williams FW05.

2010 saw Roger’s debut in international GT racing. In the works supported Jota Aston Martin Vantage, he won the GT4 class of the Spa 24 Hours. In 2011 Wills competed in the ILMC with CRS in a GTE Ferrari 430 where he finished 4th in the LM GTE Pro-Am Championship with one podium. Roger also drove for the “works” McLaren GT team in their debut race at the Spa 24 Hours for the MP4-12C.

Roger has competed in over 250 races worldwide with 12 overall wins, 25 podiums, 8 pole positions, 12 fastest laps and countless class wins to his name.
